The formula for reducing noise is to create a large airspace between the 2 windows, using 6.38mm laminated glass and acoustic seals. By creating the largest possible airspace you will achieve maximum noise reduction; this is how our system is more beneficial for noise reduction over replacement double glazed windows or window films.
The 50% noise reduction glass is a 10-decibel drop in the perceived noise level. The windows will work as well as if it was a brick veneer wall. We supply you with a written report of our sound testing at the time of quotation.

The only issue is if plantation shutters are installed on the window, we cannot install the secondary glazing. The shutters need to be removed first.
